(2018-2022)

Inaugural member of FDU's Honors Academy in 2018. Member of a cohort of students that took honors-level classes focused on different academic disciplines concerning human rights, humanity and technology, and sustainability. Invited to the program based on my high school GPA and teacher recommendations.

Achieved GPA of at least 3.5 for 8 semesters and was placed on Honors List.

Wroxton
Study-Abroad

(2022)

Received a writing-based scholarship and was part of a select group of under-graduate students to attend a graduate-level 2 week International Communication and Culture course. Traveled to Oxford, Stratford, and London in addition to attending lectures given by guest-speakers.

Fairleigh Dance Project: Public Relations Chair
(2018-2022)

Elected by fellow dance members of FDU's dance organization for 7 semesters to be an Executive Board Member in charge of handling marketing and content creations throughout the school year. Created flyers, posters, Instagram posts, the official website, TikTok posts, and showcase programs. In charge of club outreach and membership maintenance. Lead choreographer for full company pieces as well as group pieces, trios, duets, and solos for semester showcases performed for campus population as well as surrounding Madison, NJ area residents. 

Fairleigh Dramatics 
(2018-2021)

Performer for FDU acting troupe for 3 years, acting in two student-written and 3 student-directed one-act plays. Auditioned and cast in straight-plays performed for FDU campus population and surrounding Madison, NJ area residents.

Creative Writing Club
(2018)

Participated in weekly creative writing activities with fellow writers on FDU's campus. Took part in active discussions about the different methods and benefits of writing in all its different forms. Created several short-stories to be shared in a small-group setting on a weekly basis.

Earned a score of 3-5 on more than 3 Advanced Placements tests (English Literature and Composition, U.S. History, Microeconomics, Studio Art: 2-D Design Portfolio, Biology, Spanish Language and Culture)

(2014-2018)

Elected by my fellow classmates to keep track of pictures taken over our 4 years in high school. Worked with other class officers to design class merchandise, create class slogans, organize pep rallies and general assemblies, painting class shield and official mural, and putting together the senior video showcasing all video footage and pictures taken from freshmen to senior year.

Zonta Community Service Club Historian
(2014-2018)

Elected by my fellow classmates to serve as the liaison between our volunteer members and our faculty supervisor when organizing volunteer positions for various events in the Pompton Lakes Community. Ensured that community events were adequately provided with students to assist in various operations of school and town activities. Recorded ever member's hours of service and created posters with our advisor to encourage member participation. Volunteered with several PTA-run fundraisers for the school district, served food a soup kitchen with the local parish (St. Mary's), wrapped donated presents for the nearby homeless shelter for Christmas at the local community center, and set up events for middle and elementary schools in the Pompton Lakes School district.

Spring Musical and Fall Drama Performer
(2014-2018)

Cast in 4 Spring Musicals (Shrek the Musical, Young Frankenstein the Musical, Willy Wonka the Musical, Guys and Dolls) and 3 Fall straight-plays (Charlotte's Web, Harvey, All in the Timing: One Acts by David Ives). Actress, dancer, and singer for productions performed for the PLHS student body and Pompton Lakes community.

Student School Ambassador
(2014-2018)

Chosen by principal and vice-principal to represent PLHS when traveling to other high schools in New Jersey to exchange student activity ideas, tour other campuses, give tours of our campus, and engage in inter-state communication with other students. Assisted in running annual 8th Grade Open House by giving speeches and giving tours to incoming freshmen. Served as spokesperson for prospective "Choice School Students" looking to transfer to our district and in speaking with students considering transferring out of our school district for high school.

Future Business Leaders of America Public Relations / Member
(2014-2018)

Voted by fellow FBLA members to be spokesperson for organization during school morning announcements, assemblies, on locally distributed flyers/promotional materials, and for school administrators. Communicated all meeting times and dates to members and advertised fundraising efforts that would go towards the clubs competitive pursuits each school year. Attended weekly meetings and contributed to various projects for members competing at nationals and other regional events. Recorded meeting minutes and distributed relevant information to absent members and other students on campus. Participated in various fundraising events to raise money for different business speakers and field trips organized by our club advisor.

Yearbook Contributor / Editor
(2014-2018)

Provided pictures to Yearbook faculty advisor for music and theater department-related school events throughout each school year. Assisted school photographers in capturing various events for arts department students, faculty, and staff to then be sent to our yearbook advisor. Designed pages within yearbook for senior quotes and different school wide events. Became Editor my senior year and was in charge of combing through all pages of yearbook to check for spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors before book went to print.

Peer Leader
(2015-2018)

Served as older mentor for incoming freshmen from my sophomore to senior year. Attended monthly meetings with other Peer Leaders to give advice and listen to grievances of small groups of freshmen during their gym and study periods. Created agendas covering a wide array of topics to help younger students as they navigated the transition from middle school to high school. 

Member of Book Club
(2016-2018)

Actively participated in newly reinstated Book Club after school on a weekly basis. Contributed to student-lead discussions about various popular young adult fiction novels club members were responsible for reading to completion every week. Suggested new titles as reading candidates every week and took notes for club conversations.

National Honors Society
(2017-2018)

Achieved a GPA of over 3.8 for my junior and senior year of high school.

Achieved a score in the top 3% of PSAT scorers in the state of New Jersey.
